Our Laboratory Had Previously Developed A Method for Laboratory Directed Evolution of Proteins, Called Codon Shuffling. The Potential of This Method to Create Stand Alone De Novo Protein/Peptide Libraries, for Their Eventual Use As Antibacterial and Drug Like Entities Has Since Been Realised. Our Laboratory Has Recently Discovered A Completely De Novo Protein M5, That Was Able to Disrupt The Icam 1 Dimer formation in Vivo.
